NHL announces selection order for 2026 Draft

The Stanley Cup has been handed out, and now the fun of the off-season begins with the 2026 NHL Draft.

The league released the full selection order of this year’s draft on Thursday, which takes place June 26-27 in Buffalo.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and San Jose Sharks hold the first- and second-overall pick, respectively, after winning the draft lotteries last month, with the Vancouver Canucks — who finished last in the league — rounding out the top three with the third-overall selection.

The first round commences on June 26, beginning at 7 p.m. ET (Sportsnet, Sportsnet+), while Rounds 2 through 7 take place on June 27.

Here is the full selection order for the 2026 NHL Draft.
