Macko was initially brought up to the Blue Jays during mid-May, where he recorded a 1.50 ERA with 12 strikeouts over 12 innings pitched in 12 appearances. Of his 12 appearances, the 25-year-old made two starts as an opener and was credited with a win in each of them.
Macko was optioned back to Buffalo on June 9. He has since made four appearances with the Bisons, recording a 4.91 ERA with six strikeouts over 3.2 innings and four appearances.
