Jalen Carter is staying in Philadelphia on a record-setting deal.
The Eagles have extended the two-time Pro Bowler on a four-year deal worth $152 million that could grow to $160 million and includes $106 million guaranteed, the team announced on Tuesday.
Carter is now the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history.
The 25-year-old had three sacks and 12 QB hits in the 11 games he started last season. Carter has played in 43 games over the last three years while recording a total of 13.5 sacks, 37 QB hits and 66 tackles.
The 2023 ninth-overall pick is the second defensive tackle the Eagles have extended this off-season after giving Jordan Davis a three-year, $78-million extension on March 10.
