Jude Bellingham scored two goals to send England to the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup with a 2-1 victory over Norway on Saturday in Atlanta.
Bellingham scored in the 45th and 93rd minute.
His first goal tied the game up after Norway’s Andreas Schjelderup opened scoring in the 36th minute.
That tying marker from Bellingham during additional time of the first half would be enough to send the game into extra time, when the English forward would strike again to put his team up for good, booking the nation’s first semifinal appearance since 2018, when it fell to Croatia 2-1 in Russia.
England will face the winner of Saturday’s other game between Argentina and Switzerland.
