Due to wildfires across northern Ontario, smoke has been polluting the air throughout the province and surrounding areas. The poor air quality has impacted multiple sporting events, postponing the MLS match between the visiting Vancouver Whitecaps and Chicago Fire on Thursday.
As for the Blue Jays, Friday’s tilt marks the team’s first game back after the 2026 all-star break, hoping to make a push out of last place in the AL East. It’ll be the first of a three-game weekend series, all in Toronto.
