Canadian Tre Ford will get the start Saturday when the Hamilton Tiger-Cats host the Toronto Argonauts.
The native of Niagara Falls, Ont., was listed as Hamilton’s No. 1 quarterback when the CFL club released its depth chart Friday.
Jake Dolegala, who started last week’s 38-7 road loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, will be Ford’s backup.
Returner/receiver Janarion Grant (knee) and punter John Haggerty (hamstring) will miss Saturday’s game for Toronto.
Global punter James Burnip, acquired recently from Ottawa, will take Haggerty’s place but the Argos didn’t list a kick returner on their depth chart.
Canadian David Ungerer III, who’ll start at receiver, has also handled return duties in the past.
