Defenceman Pavel Mintyukov re-signs with Ducks

Friedman reported that the deal will be in the range of the contract Brandt Clarke signed to re-up with the Los Angeles Kings, which was for seven years and carried a $7.4 million average annual value.

The news comes shortly after the Ducks saw Leo Carlsson, another one of their restricted free agents, tendered a record offer sheet by the Philadelphia Flyers, a deal that came with an $18 million AAV. The Ducks have until Friday to decide whether or not to match Carlsson’s offer.

Anaheim also has yet to come to terms with restricted free agent Cutter Gauthier, who scored a career-high 41 goals last season.

Mintyukov scored eight goals and 22 points in 73 games on Anaheim’s blue line in 2025-26

The 22-year-old Russian defenceman was drafted 10th overall by the Ducks in 2022.

Last season was his third in the NHL. Over 204 career games, he has 17 goals and 52 assists.
