Fans in Philadelphia will get to see another one of their own compete in the 2026 Home Run Derby.
Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber announced Friday that he will take part in the competition at Citizens Bank Park, joining teammate Bryce Harper.
You can watch the Home Run Derby live on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ on Monday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
Schwarber, 33, is hitting .254 with an MLB-leading 32 home runs in 2026.
This will be his third time competing in the derby, having previously participated in 2018, losing in the finals to his now-teammate Harper, and 2022, when he was bounced in the first round after entering the competition as the No. 1 seed.
He joins Harper, Cardinals’ Jordan Walker, Yankees’ Ben Rice, Royals’ Jac Caglianone, Red Sox’s Willson Contreras and Rays’ Junior Caminero as the seven confirmed participants.
The eighth and final participant has yet to be announced.
