Two days before the PWHL Draft, we’re getting a better idea of how the day will shake out.
The league announced the draft order of selection on Monday, led by the Vancouver Goldeneyes and Seattle Torrent, respectively, for all six rounds of Wednesday’s draft.
The Goldeneyes earned the first pick and the right to draft presumptive No. 1 Caroline Harvey by finishing first in the PWHL Gold Plan — which rewards wins down the stretch after a team has been eliminated from playoff contention — while the Torrent earned the No. 2 spot by finishing last in the PWHL regular-season standings.
The draft order will remain the same for all six rounds. The league’s four expansion teams occupy Nos. 3 through 6.
