The Toronto Raptors are keeping one of their depth centre options around for next season.
The Raptors are opting into the $2.4 million team option on centre Trayce Jackson-Davis for the 2026-27 season, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Monday.
Jackson-Davis was acquired by Toronto in a February deadline deal with the Golden State Warriors that sent a second-round pick the other way.
The 26-year-old only played 17 regular-season games with the Raptors, averaging 1.7 points and 1.9 rebounds while playing five minutes per game. He also made three post-season appearances in the Raptors’ first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, recording two points in the 126-113 Game 1 loss.
Drafted 57th overall by the Wizards in 2023 and traded to Golden State on draft night, the former Indiana product has averaged 6.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists over his three-year career.
