Report: Saints sign WR Chris Olave to four-year, $132 million extension

The New Orleans Saints have their WR1 locked up for the foreseeable future.

Wide receiver Chris Olave has signed a four-year, $132 million extension, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday.

According to Schefter, the deal includes $90 million guaranteed.

Olave, 26, was set to earn $15.4 million this season on the final year of his rookie deal, as the Saints picked up the fifth-year option in April 2025.

He enjoyed a career year last year, finishing with 100 catches on 156 targets for 1,163 yards and nine touchdowns. All of those marks were career highs.

For his efforts, he was named to the second-team All-Pro for the first time in his career.

Drafted 11th overall by the Saints in 2022, the former Ohio State product has had an impressive start to his NFL career, eclipsing the 1,000-yard threshold in three of his four seasons. He had only 400 yards in his third season after dealing with injuries for much of the year, causing him to miss over half the season.
