Report: Wings’ Paige Bueckers available vs. Fire

The Dallas Wings could get a huge boost in their final game ahead of the WNBA all-star break.

Paige Bueckers will be available to play Wednesday against the Chicago Fire, per ESPN’s Alexa Philippou. She was previously listed as questionable.

Bueckers missed Monday’s game against the New York Liberty as she dealt with soreness stemming from a fall on Sunday.

Bueckers collided with Nneka Ogwumike, took a hard fall and hit her head on the floor in the final four minutes of the Wings’ win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday. Both players remained on the floor for several minutes following the fall, but Ogwumike eventually returned to play. Bueckers did not.

Bueckers was cleared from having a concussion in a post-game evaluation.

The former UConn standout is fourth in the WNBA at 20.9 points per game and sixth at 6.2 assists.
